“Come Unity” by G. Listen and The Metisunz ft. Maria Songbird Remos

I came across this conscious hip hop track on Instagram last night entitled “Come Unity” which really makes you aporeciate this sub-genre of hip hop. “Come Unity” is a collaboration from Waimanalo based emcee G. Listen, the production duo Metisunz (Ais1 and Aea4m), and features the beautiful vocals of Maria Songbird Remos. Their album “6 Degrees of Separation” will be released soon. In the meantime, please indulge in these good vibes. Enjoy!

“Could A Been” (Video) – Denzil Porter | @DenzilPorter

The visuals for Denzil Porter’s “Could A Been” will leave you feeling like you’ve watched a heartwarming movie. And, yes it is sort of that as the cinematic visual derives its inspiration from “The Pursuit of Happyness”. Same beautiful message and vibes but with less intensity. You’ll love the tender moments that are displayed between a struggling father and his daughter in the visual. But in the end there is a silver lining. Enjoy!

“Could A Been” is a track off of Denzil Porter’s latest project “Semantics of Mr. Porter” which is available on all streaming outlets.

“Late Night on Greenwood (Interlude)” by GXNE.| @GoneWallace

This is Gone Wallace’s latest I-get-to-enjoy-the-90s-and-listen-to-dope-hip-hop visuals for his track “Late Night On Greenwood (Interlude)” which is included on his current project “They Ain’t Think I Was Gxne To Do It”. I really love watching Gone Wallace’s creative visuals just aa much as I enjoy his lyricism. You’ll notice a VERY familiar bassline on this one – yeah, he did it y’all… Enjoy!

“The Dozens” – (Video) by Rymeezee | @Rymeezee

San Francisco’s Rymeezee and San Jose’s DJ Eternal recently collaborated on their new project “The Known Nobody” (Mixtape). You really wouldn’t know that the “known nobody” concept really resonates with the two as their guest emcee list is strong arm heavy. But, as an artist one must be heard and keep striving to reach the masses, hence the title. “The Known Nobody” Mixtape has a little something for everyone from Golden Era hip hop to RnB/Hip Hop and track with familiar music gems that will satisfy your ears. But, for the hip hop heads, Rymeezee dropped his latest visuals for his track “The Dozens” last month which is also included on the mixtape. Y’all stay easy and enjoy!

“Beast Mode” by Abyss | @AbysstheMC ft. Dese and Mic.ill

Massachusetts emcee Abyss recently dropped “Beast Mode” which is a track from his forthcoming project “All-Nighter Vol. 4”. On every level, this track is fire… Enjoy!

Respect The Bars… : “R.T.B. 3” (Official Music Video) by Granddad Woolly | @GranddadWoolly

I think I watched the new visuals for “R.T.B. 3” like three times because it is a dope, “intergalactic” experience straight from Granddadd Woolly’s rocking chair. Yep, I’ve always admired this emcee’s old soul for the hip hop heads appeal and after listening to “R.T.B. 3” I was left questioning – “Why you hurt these emcees like that Granddad Woolly? Why?” Listen up, school is in session, and y’all enjoy!!!

A Casual Thing: “Wildin'” (Video) – The Sorority | @thesororityyz

“Yo! This is a story all about how this mans won’t leave me alone…” – Lex Leosis

Oooohhh shit, the summer is already fire for hip hop but, damn I think Canada’s ultra hip hop quartet/posse “The Sorority” just solidified it for me. Their new track “Wildin'” from their latest project “Pledge” combines a 90s RnB feel and hip hop (with dope rhyme slaying) PERFECTLY while putting the nail in the coffin on how we (ladies) roll on the not so committed tip too. “Why you blowin’ up my spot? I need to leave you alone.” Yes, Keysha Freshh, Lex Leosis, Haviah Mighty, and pHoenix Pagliacci I can totally relate… Y’all enjoy!!

“25/8” (Official Refreshed Video) – Fresh | @Nothin2Much

Fresh. Fresh for the fans, for his future, the culture, manifesting his own destiny and having a positive impact on others. This Lawton, OK emcee is no stranger to The Greener Side of Hip Hop – I still remember one of his first videos “Perfect Notes”, from a few years back and I knew then Fresh was cut from a different cloth. LFresh’s genuine, lyrical bravado and confidence he displayed on that track had to have been instilled in him at an early age. These days he is dropping financial advice and words of wisdom on social media, ALWAYS reppin’ the hip hop culture for his city and for the ultimate win – he has strategically gotten even “closer” to his fan base…

First, there was the CONNECT – click this link here – for the exclusives and first to know information. Then, Fresh went ahead and just “REFRESHED” the visuals for one of my favorite tracks, the energizing “25/8”. Wait, what? A second video? (my initial reaction). I think I watched like 45 seconds of the video and realized there was no need to ask in my Dr. Phil voice – “How is connecting with your fans working out for you Fresh?” And Fresh’s response (in my imaginary mind probably was): “Godspeed. I’m from Lawton.”

And, yes he is reppin’ Lawton, as well as the steps that have been ordered for him, AND he took his fans along for the ride. The REFRESHED visuals for “25/8” tells it all with the devoted fan love and subtlety captures the essence of Tupac and Dr. Dre ridin’ out in the desert in “California Love”. But don’t ever forget – he from Lawton. I am TOTALLY lovin’ this new energy! Check out the video below and vibrate on a higher level with Fresh “25/8”. Enjoy!
