Ready to Run It… “[S|90|3]” by Nicholas Hunt | @NicholasHunt__

This past week I have been listening to a few of Nicholas Hunt’s tracks that were released in the last year (“Echelon” “FUCHTHABULLSHIT”, “Vagabond”, etc.) and it’s really hard to even put a hip hop genre label on his work. He’s a singer and a rhyme slayer and he doesn’t sound like anything you’ve every heard. Today he released the title track from his upcoming EP “S903” – and yes I just Googled  S903 AND I like this track for it’s laid back vibe and Nicholas’s delivery… I’ll connect the S903 dots later. Y’all enjoy!

@CoolFDBeats Presents… Independent Coolness Radio Show (Ep. 31) Hosted by Shore Shot

If it’s Sunday, then that means that some ears got blessed in France today by Cool FD. Don’t worry his kindness and generosity is all good all the time for us out here in the States… so sit down and enjoy Episode 31 of Cool FD’s Independent Coolness Radio Show hosted by Sure Shot below and thank me later.

Everybody Wanna Be A King…. “Pharaoh Height 2/30” Lupe Fiasco | @LupeFiasco

All praises due to Lupe Fiasco for blessing his fans today with new six track mixtape “Pharaoh Height 2/30”.  “Valleys” and (the melodramatic and very intense bedtime story) “Scheme” are my two favorite tracks so far. Enjoy!

Stay Fuckin’ Up The Commas Daily… “The 90s Made Me” – JU$TIN | @JU$TINHUSTLE_BX

Bronx bred, bi-coastal artist (NY Native/LA Transplant) JU$TIN takes on Wu Tang Clan’s “7th Chamber” instrumental and teases us with an ode to the era that heavily influenced him, with his track entitled “The 90s Made Me”. Aside from the fact that he “stays fuckin’ up the commas daily” on this track, there’s something about JU$TIN’s smooth delivery and dark and mysterious rhyme style that will make a listener want more  … and on August 31st you CAN get more when JU$TIN releases his EP entitled “$treet ART. In the meantime, enjoy your introduction to this man’s hustle!

Like La La La… “It Feels Like 1994” (Video) – Zaid Tabani | @ZaidTabaniMusic

“I remember they told me, it’s not about what I sell, it’s about whatever they sold you.” – Zaid Tabani

Zaid Tabani has proven that he can take the raw and passionate rhymer to another level – never scared of going deeper (within himself) and also confronting the naysayers. Here’s his latest visual entitled “It Feels Like 1994”. Enjoy!

The Hip Hop Hiatus Is Over…

BeFunky Collage

…along with my summer flinging, enjoying the summer with my son, (school is back in session, but he always has my time) and of course missing the music, artists, and readers who support this blog. Yeah, I did sneak in and peep that Drake vs. Meek Mill beef – “Back-to-Back” is my fuckin’ jam and the memes keep me in stiches on and offline.  Well, that was my  #IWelcomeMyselfBack piece and I’m ready to ride/ready to write.

“Drizzy, tell ’em again”… enjoy!
