This is a very entertaining new video from my favorite emcees from Plainfield, NJ entitled “New Shoes”. The vibe on this track makes you feel lively as the two emcees trade bars about the subject of shoes, specifically new shoes. Unfortunately, shoes is one of the many things that can serve as a confidence booster and both the mouthpiece and deal breaker when making that first impression. And Negroes Americanos will just have you nodding your head in absolute agreement after watching “New Shoes”. I’m loving the authentic treatment of the video – the local shoe store setting with Bishop Nappyhead and mc enigma jersey doing their thing. As well as, the impromptu dancers that make this an all around feel good visual. Hip hop head or not you’ll be left singing this track’s hook with some confidence in your “sole” – enjoy!
