Pennjamin Bannekar has been in in my e-mails, been in my e-mails, been in my e-mails and today I finally took time out to listen to a few tracks on his “Paper Plane Pilots” project. I like the entertaining track (and video) for “Likes”, as well as “Light It Up” and the heart twisting “Thief”. However,  “Congratulations” was the ONE that said to me “Hey this cat is in his own lane” (although I do hear a very slight Kanye inspiration done right on this track). On “Congratulations” Pennjamin tips his glass and gives a very sarcastic “Congratulations” to all those who are out there on that “Ginuwine pony shit.” Could be phony but I thought I heard pony. Nevertheless, it’s official, I’m diggin’ you Pennjamin Bannekar.
