Fresh off his tour and back with new music, Milwaukee’s own Taiyamo Denku dropped his single for “Filthy” earlier this week. This time it’s a Milwaukee thing as the “rap recruiter” brought up and coming artist Genesis Renji of House of Renji to drop some verses on this track. The track is described as a cross between new age rap and Golden Era boom bap – and yes I’m totally feelin’ that. On the track both Taiyamo and Genesis provide verses that goes against the grain of mumble rappers, as they challenge anyone to fill their veteran style of lyricism and metaphorically get into why they are “so filthy, raw, dirty and dope” with no flaws. This for Milwaukee, and this for the hip hop heads. Enjoy!
