Hailing from K-Town on Chicago’s west side, artist Philmore Greene has teamed up with Power Culture 45 to release his vinyl only project entitled “Chicago: A Third World City”. Produced by Rashid Hadee, the theme of the project sets out to capture the grit and grime of the Windy City a lá certain poignant time periods geared toward social issues of our times with such titles as, “Fly’n On LSD”, “Nightime Maneuvers 2”, and the oh so familiar “Reaganomics” which can be heard below. “Chicago: A Third World City” can be pre-ordered here and will be available for shipping on June 10, 2019.
