Lights La Soul recently released his movie style visuals for “BREADWINNER” which is a track off of his latest project “DAGO” EP (Dreaming About Getting Out). In the visuals, the films takes getting laid off from a job to a whole new climatic level in under four minutes. The chain of events are predictable once Lights’s character (he plays a cook) receives that performance review meeting voice mail from his boss “Kim” and then overhears her on the phone say “Yeah, I’m gonna fire him after his shift ends”. Yep, in the first 40 seconds you already know its going to be a fucked up day, but its how the director achieves the level of fucked that is surprising.
